Set within the extraordinary natural landscape of Ulpotha, Ade’s retreat explores Yoga in its fullest sense: not simply as a form of exercise, but as a way of understanding ourselves and learning to live happier, more peaceful and more enjoyable lives! Through asanas, breathwork, nature walks, journaling, mindfulness, and group exercises, this retreat is an invitation to get to know your own mind a little better, reconnect with yourself, and rediscover your place within the amazing world around you.

Ade's background in Biology, Yoga and Massage has allowed him to work with clients of all ages and abilities, helping them to move more freely in their body, while developing a deeper understanding of their mind.

Morning practices will be rooted in Hatha Yoga, combining traditional asana with strength, mobility and an emphasis on careful, safe alignment. The practice is suitable for all levels. Beginners will be given the foundations to understand what they are doing and, importantly, why they are doing it, while more experienced practitioners will have the opportunity to deepen their practice and refine their technique.

Evening sessions will be peaceful and playful, and structured around Patanjali's Eight Limbs of Yoga, incorporating pranayama, guided meditation, journaling, contemplative walks, stimulating group conversations and mindfulness exercises. Together, these practices will offer opportunities to observe the mind, explore our habitual ways of perceiving the world and become more present within it.

By the end of the retreat, you will leave with a practical collection of tools to take home: ways to move your body with greater freedom, breathwork techniques to help regulate stress, simple daily meditation practices, and a foundational understanding of the philosophy and purpose of Yoga. So come as you are! Move, breathe, explore, laugh… and leave Ulpotha feeling more connected to yourself, to others and to the extraordinary world around you.
