Flo Wong

Originally from California, Flo has been immersed in yoga for the past 20 years and now teaches around the world. After a 500 hour Yoga Alliance Teacher certification specialising in Kriya Yoga, she trained as a meditation facilitator, sound healer, cranial sacral therapist, and Qi Gong practitioner. Her mission revolves around embodying love and compassion, and offering guidance and support to others during challenging times.

Flo shares her wisdom globally through offerings such as Bhakti Kriya Yoga, Meditation sessions, Sound Baths, and Agni Hotra in serene settings spanning from Bali (including Bali Silent Retreat, Eco Swasti, and Yoga Barn) to India (Maha Bodhi Yoga and Meditation Centre in Ladakh), Sri Lanka (Prana Lounge in Colombo), Borneo (Gaya Island Retreat), as well as hosting workshops in the U.S. (conducted in downtown San Francisco).

Bhakti Kriya Yoga is a potent practice that detoxifies both the physical and energetic bodies, leading individuals toward self-healing and liberation. The practice incorporates breathing techniques, dynamic movements, and mantras to unlock energy channels within the body, by stimulating key areas of the brain and releasing bliss-inducing brain chemicals such as dopamine and endorphins.

Sound Meditation provides deep relaxation for the nervous and parasympathetic systems. By aligning with the main chakras using a set of full-moon Himalayan singing bowls, the pristine sound vibrations permeate the entire body, fostering inner harmony and balance.

At Ulpotha, Flo’s morning classes will allow you to immerse yourself in a rejuvenating session featuring essential breathwork, asana practice, and Hatha, Vinyasa flow, or Bhakti Kriya yoga. These practices are suitable for all levels and harmoniously realign the body, mind, and spirit.

The evening sessions will focus on reinforcing serenity and cultivating inner peace through Pranayama, Guided Chakra meditations, Yoga Nidra, Loving Kindness and Sound Bath meditations.
