Set and Manifest your New Year Intentions in the jungle heartland to deepen your yoga practice and reconnect with nature in
the wild enchanted landscape of central Sri Lanka. We invite you to join us at one of the most extraordinary yoga destinations in
the world, located at the foot of the Galgiriyawa mountain on the edge of a lotus ringed lake and emerald green paddy fields.
One of the very few places you can feel safely immersed in the heart of nature and experience indescribable natural beauty and
serenity. The food served, is organic and grown on the land by the gracious Ulpotha community. You can ride bikes, swim in the
lake, hike in the countryside or take authentic Ayurvedic treatments. A captivating place that sprinkles its magic dust on all those
that retreat there.

The retreat teacher Jules Jenkinson/Australia offers a strong and vibrant practice, inspired by nature, different cultures,
spirituality, and the elements, linking movement, breath and the true beauty of life combining mantras, mudras, pranayama, and
asana. Jules encourages growth and interconnection of the physical and spiritual self, hoping that her students will step off
their mat and into everyday life with that same nourishment and balanced approach.

Ulpotha is a self-sustaining agricultural community spanning 25 acres in the jungle heartland of Sri Lanka. When you arrive you can leave the digital world behind. Ulpotha is a living permaculture village and you will sleep in earthen huts and feel connected to the land. Much of the food is grown on-site and the whole atmosphere at Ulpotha is permeated with metta (loving-kindness).

We recommend you join for the full event to get the most from your stay but we understand that is not possible for everyone. Late arrival is possible and we request a two night minimum stay.

Jules Jenkinson
Prana Vinyasa Teacher

At an early age, Jules was able to create an understanding of movement and flow through calisthenics and dance. The practice and spirituality of Yoga later came to Jules as a way to continue to move and as she travelled around the world.

Surrounded by inspiring teachers, classes, workshops, and her own self-study became more frequent, soon leading to her first training. Jules has been guided under many influential local and international teachers namely under the tutelage of global Prana Flow Teacher Shiva Rea.

Leading retreats abroad has allowed Jules to be constantly inspired by nature, different cultures, spirituality, and the elements, linking movement, breath and the true beauty of life through the graceful practice.

With a rich tapestry of learnings developing inside, Jules grew into teaching and is now one of Melbourne’s most admired Yoga Teachers. Her classes combine mantras, mudras, pranayama, and asana, expanding the full yoga experience.

Jules encourages growth and interconnection of the physical and spiritual self within students, and seeks to help others thrive by nurturing own body and soul wisdom through yoga. Her hope is that her students will step off their mat and into everyday life with that same nourishment and balanced approach.

Arrival Day: Thursday January 28th

Opening Ceremony 5 pm
Dinner 7 pm
Daily Schedule: January 29th to 31st
7:30 am to 10 am Morning Meditation, Pranayama, and Asana practice
10 am Coconut, fruits, and light breakfast
1 pm Lunch
4 pm on three afternoons we will offer a workshop/clinic to help you deepen your understanding of Yoga.
7 pm Dinner
One morning during the week there will be no 7:30 am class. You can rest or join us for a sunrise hike up Uncle Willy’s rock. In the afternoon we will offer a special event.
