UK born Katie, now based in South-West France, has worked with the body for most of her life.
Starting out as a professional ballet dancer, on ‘retiring’ at 30 she discovered yoga and has never looked back. Having taught yoga since 2012, she felt the need to study Yoga Therapy to work more individually with clients, often with chronic conditions. In 2017 she then added Thai Yoga Massage to her offerings to enable her clients to benefit from a more globally holistic aid on their healing journeys.
To perfectly compliment her yoga therapy, she chose to train in Thai Yoga Massage with Katrin Heuser of Hadadi. This method is very traditional: in essence it brings in elements of yoga, acupressure, meditation, physiotherapy and energy work.
Katie’s treatments are very personalised as she holds the belief that our bodies are designed to heal themselves and feels these treatments help to facilitate this process. Sessions gently start to undo holding patterns, releasing tension and stagnation to revitalize our body and rewire the nervous system.
This style of massage is holistic: it can be practiced alongside other treatments and is suitable for all as it is tailored to your specific needs.
